Training Outline
Intelligent building has an element of good M&E services. Good design is a key success strategy for high quality fitting-out works which provide the most signification impact on the performance of an intelligent building. Nevertheless, many fitting-out projects in Hong Kong seem to be some continuous works that may go over 2 to 3 months after commencement. Under such schedule, it may not be easy to maintain the original good design of an intelligent building. This training aims to illustrate the design practice for fitting-out work. It will also review on the trend for the chiller development in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. The building services installation and the trend for the chiller development in related to good design practice for fitting-out work on intelligent building are therefore brief.

Remarks
1. The technical training will not be covered by insurance policy. Members should assess the risk and purchase their own insurance policy if considerednecessary.
2. If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above / Rainstorm Red or Black Warning is hoisted up till 5:30 pm on that date, the training will be cancelled.
3. 2 hours CPD Certificate will be issued (First-come-first-served basis)

Ir Henry Ho have had 17 years of design and project administrative experience with E&M and Building Services Systems in relating to the energy efficiency in buildings; and during this period had carried out multi-task skill on contract administration, design and monitoring, site coordination, tender administration, and T&C roles for Commercial building, Industrial building, hospital, teaching institutions, residential estates, government buildings, including new and A&A works for ASD, Private Sector and Hospital Authority works. |

Ir Kelvin Tang has over 20 years of solid experience in an engineering field, especially in the Building Services (BS) industry; he currently is a manager of TYS Limited, a joint venture between Trane and Jardine. He is the Chairman of Executive Committee in Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings (AIIB), Head of Sustainability Development Specialist Group in the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) and a Committee Member of Hong Kong Institute of Engineer (HKIE) – Control, Automation & Instrumentation Division. |
